I'm so happy about the way this illustration turned out! It went better than just according to my plan! I wanted to express the playfulness of the lynx cub and the fluffy things she's being so fascinated about became just the way I imagined them. So far, all the plants I've been drawing to this calendar have been completely imaginary. They can certainly resemble some existing plants but I've not made any of the flowers or such based on a reference. Honestly, I find it harder to draw from reference. For me it's easier to just come up with whatever serves my purpose and go with it.
