My Second Cat Portrait Commission
This post is all about a commissioned watercolor painting I created in the beginning of summer. Before starting to work on the painting, I showed the client the cat portrait I had made a year ago. She liked the composition and we agreed I'd make this portrait in a similar way. The client had a list of certain plants that she wanted the portrait to include: Forget-Me-Nots/Scorpion Grasses, Ivy and Lilies of white and red. I made the sky in the background of the cat have purple and pink hues to mach the flowers in front.
On the right you see the cat portrait I made a year ago. You can find the full blog post about that particular commission here.
