My Wonderful Artist Life - Comic Diary, part 6

The incident where I asked a stranger to drive me to the railway station is here in this earlier comic diary update.
Lately I've been sharing details of my early artist career, and the events that lead to the decision to pursue such a path to begin with. There are so many things that have happened that I simply cannot share every detail. However, I hope this comic diary gives you at least a rough idea of my journey so far. Enjoy!
Finally I have the time to write a new blog post! Needless to say, the past couple of months have been the busiest of my life. However, now that the Christmas-sales-season is over, I have successfully made a schedule for myself, to get piles of work done, and I've made sure that this schedule has time reserved for blog posts too...
So far, I have had the chance to create portraits of humans and dogs, but this time it was, for the first time, a cat. This particular cat had had a special relationship with pansies, and the commissioner wanted to have her furry friend portrayed with them, thus I got the idea of the kitty being surrounded with these flowers, holding one&...

The Vision Pulls You. by - Steve Jobs On this blog post there are pictures from the process of the creation of a commissioned watercolor portrait that I just finished. Just before the busy summer-sales-season, I got to create three commissions that were all for three different businesses. The first one was a logo design, second a caricature for a business card, and the third another logo design. I'm sharing the work-in-progress material here as usual, with some more details about the creation processes ...
If you're wondering why there's been silent on this blog during the past few months, it's because of a little renovation it went through. However, the wait is over now and I can present you the work-in-progress material of my two recently finished t-shirt designs!  "Foliage Fox" The first design was a fox (surprise!). The orange-red fur o...
This painting took me surprisingly little time considering it was A2-sized. But then again, the commissioner wished the painting to remain rather simple and wanted the surroundings of the couple to be blurry. So, at the end, the only places where I really needed to pay attention were the faces of the two people, and their upper bodies. As can ...
All the illustrations for the story of Sebastian have been finished at last. I'm hoping to be able to send the story file to publishers as soon as possible.  In this blog post you'll find all the work-in-progress pictures of the final illustrations, enjoy! (notice that there's a second gallery under the first one) You can find time-lapse ...
