Desucon 2025

Desucon is an anime event held at the Sibelius Hall in Lahti, Finland. The event starts on Friday at 5 pm and ends on Sunday at 5 pm, and the age limit for the event is 18 years.

Desucon focuses on a high-quality anime and manga talk show. In addition, Desucon will also feature Japanese industry guests of honor, cosplay and AMV competitions, discussion groups, workshops and other side programs.

Desucon is organized by the Finnish Association of Developing Cones. The event is organized as a volunteer effort by amateurs, with a twinkle in the eye but with a professional approach. The event itself involves a total of about 400 volunteers cleaning, supervising order, building, dismantling, photographing, advising and helping, and hosting the program. 

The association is a non-profit organization and the proceeds from the event will be used to organize the following desuta events.
