SOMETIMES THE EMERGENCY IS ABOUT CHRISTMAS CARDS
Just when my Christmas holiday had started a friend of my mom was in a desperate need of two special Christmas cards for two very special people.
I had made a couple of pencil portraits for her before and now she was asking if I could create these two emergency Christmas cards because she wanted to give something unique to her loved ones.
Sure, I was supposed to be on a holiday, but honestly, I was more than happy to create these cards for her (it's nice to visit my family but there is not much to do there). Besides, when I was done with the cards, as easy as they were for me to create, she liked them so much she even decided to frame them.
To me, one of the best things about making art is to see how happy it makes not just me, but other people as well.
