JWW 2023 Calendar: May
It's Alex! The main character of my horse comic! ...and his mother, of course. 😁
Since only God knows when I'll actually be able to draw this horse comic, I take any chance I get to sneak the characters into my other artworks. I did the same with my 2022 calendar, where the month of May features the main characters of my dragon story (another comic I want to create in the future).
Back to the calendar illustration...
On the top left corner you find the very first, super quick sketch of this artwork, and below it, a more detailed, A4-sized drawing I used to trace the lineart on watercolor paper.
Then, we have the usual gallery slideshow of the photos I took of the painting process~
