MORE OFFICIAL VIEW ON TRACON

Feature-21

Even after starting "My Wonderful Artist Life Comic Diary", I decided to keep making these traditional blog posts every now and then to give you people a "more official" view on things, since the comic diary tends to be not-too-serious kind, offering my own artistic view on things.

So, today I kindly present you: Tracon, 8.-10.8.2017

Above a couple of pictures of the creation of magnets. This time I started to prepare for the upcoming event early, days ahead, which ensured I had plenty of time to get everything done. Still, every time I'm preparing for an event, my little apartment becomes a real construction site (as seen below).

What was very unusual (never happened before) was that I was done with all the preparations early the day before travelling. Usually I get everything done at the last minute. Later that day I even forgot I was about to go to an event since the usual rush was not there.

But then, before 4 am in the morning, I woke up with a feeling that I had forgotten something. And then I remembered: business cards. And so I got up very early (otherwise I would've had the pleasure to sleep until 5 am) to print those tiny cards. But as I often like to say, better late than never.

In Tampere I stayed at my sister's place. She kindly helped me to get all my stuff from railway station to her apartment, and then from there to Tampere-talo where the event was held at. She also invented a very funny (and very convenient too!) way of pushing my suitcase in front of her, instead of dragging it behind her. The photo on the right  unfortunately doesn't give the hilarious impression of her way of walking the suitcase it did in reality.

As always, here's my sleeping corner for this adventure: A whole sofa just for me! I slept incredibly well on this sofa, better than on any other sofa ever before. Not that I've ever had trouble sleeping on them, but this particular specimen sure had some real magic in it.

Then, let's get to the actual event: Tracon in general was amazing! People were swarming around my table almost all the time so there was no chance for me to get bored. Once more I got to see so many new faces and have some fantastic conversations. I also got to see people I hadn't seen in years and got a chance to catch up with them. The sales were good too, and I honestly haven't got a single bad word to say about this trip of mine ~

At last I present you with a photo of one of the highlights of Tracon. These two lovely girls came to my table on the second day of my sales. They had bought my Firefoxes t-shirts the previous day and were both now wearing them. After my little fangirling-scene I asked them if I could take a picture of them to use it on my blog, and here we go~
